Stone & Tile Installation in Chula Vista, CA
Licensed, insured, and skilled installers serving Chula Vista and all of San Diego County. We work directly with you, not as a subcontractor for other contractors, so the crew you hire is the crew that does the work.
Older West Side Homes and Newer East Side Communities
Chula Vista splits roughly in two. West of I-805 you find homes from the 1950s and 60s, many with original bathrooms and slab floors that have settled over the decades. East of it, Eastlake, Rancho del Rey and Otay Ranch were built from the 1980s onward as master-planned communities.
Those two halves need different prep. On older slabs we look for settlement cracks and bridge them with a crack isolation membrane before any tile goes down. In the newer communities the slab is usually sound, but exterior or visible changes often need HOA architectural approval first.
Where We Work in Chula Vista
Many Otay Ranch and Eastlake homes have patios and entries visible from the street, and those are the projects most likely to need an HOA sign-off. Interior floors, showers and backsplashes usually do not, but check your CC&Rs before ordering material.

Chula Vista FAQ
Do I need HOA approval for tile in Eastlake or Otay Ranch?
Interior work usually does not. Exterior work that changes how the home looks from outside, such as a front entry or a visible patio, often does. We can give you material samples and specs to include with your HOA submission.
My west Chula Vista slab has cracks. Can you still tile over it?
Usually, yes. Hairline shrinkage and settlement cracks can be bridged with a crack isolation membrane. Cracks with height difference across them need to be assessed first, because tile cannot fix a moving slab.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are licensed (CSLB #1063501) and insured for residential and commercial work.
